Core implementation review
Three storefront journeys from model choice to purchase
SALIGIA’s value sits in campaign photography and cut, not in a generic apparel grid. The theme frontend has to keep capsules such as Greek, Obscura and Measured Tension editorial, while making garment entry, sizing, sold-out state and returns separable from the black ground — with desktop and mobile sharing one collection and product system.
Project context
Define how customers choose before defining the storefront
Customers enter through underwear, briefs, trunks, jockstraps, swim or collections such as Greek, Obscura and Measured Tension, then validate cut, size, colour, fabric and returns. Member Shop and Mystery Box serve committed audiences.
Shopify theme frontend optimization; UI/UX refinement; collection and product-page components; navigation, interaction and mobile adaptation.
Arrive in the look first, then in a garment you can buy
Connect the editorial pace of the homepage and Featurette to shoppable garment paths — Underwear, Briefs, Trunks, Jockstraps, Swim — and to capsules that can drop independently.
- 01Open on campaign frames
- 02Split garment shops from capsules
- 03Keep contour and fabric readable on the collection
- 04Step from a card into one cut
Implementation
- Discovery is organised through collection imagery, with garment type and capsule ranges as parallel axes rather than a flat SKU grid.
- Photography, series copy and product cards stay independently replaceable, so Featurette and capsules such as Greek, Obscura and Measured Tension share one browsing rhythm.
- Swiper moves series and content only; it does not compete with primary navigation or garment entry.
Deployment and acceptance
- Desktop can enter garment types through wide campaign frames; mobile crops sculptural photography and keeps collection and filter targets large enough to tap.
- A capsule drop mainly swaps series imagery and collection content instead of rebuilding navigation.
- Motion stays sparse, and focus travels from campaign frames to product cards to purchase controls so the carousel never covers the path.
- Shoppers can tell a lookbook moment from a garment collection without losing the brand register.
- New capsules reuse the same collection components, so the browse order stays intact.

After the silhouette lands, cut, size, colour, fabric and aftercare still have to be confirmed on the same product page — the buy controls cannot disappear into the image.
- 01Read the cut from photography
- 02Select a live size and colour
- 03Confirm care and returns
- 04Add the pair and see related pieces
Implementation
- Size and colour live as variants; care, support and model notes stay as content fields rather than option values.
- Size, price and add-to-cart separate from the black ground at high contrast; sold-out sizes use a distinct state so they never share the rank of available options.
- Add and quantity changes go through Shopify Ajax Cart; related-item recommendations sit beside the current cut instead of replacing the confirmation task.
Deployment and acceptance
- Mobile crops keep the body contour, and size and returns remain large enough to tap.
- Gift-box configuration is maintained apart from base underwear, so bundle state does not overwrite a simple size selection.
- Gallery and purchase behaviour stay in the theme kernel and product-media surface; fit guidance remains adjacent and does not rewrite the variant contract.
- Shoppers can confirm fit and add a size without leaving the editorial register.
- Sold-out, care and returns are visible before checkout, so the sensitive-category hesitation does not wait for a policy page.

The operating team can continue after launch
- Garment collections route Underwear, Briefs, Trunks, Jockstraps and Swim; Greek, Obscura, Measured Tension and Featurette stay independent capsules.
- Size and colour belong in variants; care, support and model notes stay as content, not option values.
- Gift boxes are maintained apart from base underwear; Member Shop and Mystery Box serve committed buyers without flattening into the garment grid.
- The public storefront transacts in English with USD as default; collection imagery and product records can be shared across destinations.
- Delivery, tax and underwear-return copy should be maintained by destination and remain readable before checkout.
- Operational edits belong in collection navigation, fit notes, gift-box copy and policy modules; regional differences stay in content and inventory rather than inside the theme kernel.
